Unseen, Now Heard

The Challenge AYA had no presence in East Grand Rapids and needed to build one – not through advertising, but through genuine connection.

The Insight It's easy to scroll past a cause. Harder to walk away from a voice. When someone hears a teenager describe their own experience with housing instability, it stops being an abstract problem and starts feeling personal – like someone in their own community.

The Solution Retro payphones, secretly installed in unexpected public spaces. Pick one up and you heard a real first-person story from a youth AYA had served. No event to attend, no ask to scroll past. This campaign meets people exactly where they were.
